History
The name “Tri-Wall” emerged in the early 1950s when Abe Goldstein in New Jersey, USA, invented a heavy-duty corrugated cardboard material called “Tri-Wall Pak®.” Its superiority in transport packaging was quickly recognized, and in less than a decade, Tri-Wall Pak® was widely used in various industrial and agricultural sectors in the United States.
This success prompted Tri-Wall to expand globally through local partnerships. Expansion began in the UK in the late 1960s, then continued into Asia in 1974 through a partnership with Japan’s largest paper company. This significant success in Japan led to the formation of the “TRI-WALL GROUP,” which later expanded its network to Korea, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and China.
In 2010, Tri-Wall’s headquarters were relocated from Tokyo to Hong Kong to reflect the company’s increasingly international profile and the strategic role of China in the group’s long-term vision. From Hong Kong, TRI-WALL LIMITED oversees the operations of Tri-Wall companies in Japan, Southeast Asia, China, Europe, and the United States.
As part of its expansion in Asia, PT Tri-Wall Indonesia was established in September 1998 to bring world-class packaging and logistics solutions to the Indonesian market, supported by fast and responsive customer service and local delivery. Entering its second decade, Tri-Wall Indonesia now has a presence in four different locations across Indonesia, enabling it to offer a more comprehensive range of products and services to Indonesia’s growing industrial and export sectors.
